Dean of Young Women
Dean Calina Lang is originally from Washington State. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences/Special Education from the University of WA in Seattle. She has taught for the public schools, Adventist schools, colleges and for corporations in Japan. Being a native of the Pacific Northwest, she enjoys being out in nature with her two children where she feels God’s presence the most. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, playing sports, baking, gardening, going to the beach and spending time with her friends.
Dean of Young Men
Dean Kevin Abrahamson grew up in Arkansas and attended Ozark Adventist Academy. He has come to us from Missouri where he has lived the past 13 years with his wife, Julie and three children, Jessica, Kassie and Brody. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Southwestern Adventist University-Adult Degree Program in 2009. Kevin has taught Early Childhood through academy, has been an Assistant Dean, and has a passion for Adventist education. He comes to us with a background as a firefighter, EMT (worked EMS/Fire for over 10 years), Search & Rescue Specialist, corporate safety trainer and Pathfinder Area Coordinator/TLT Director. Being from Missouri, Kevin and his family love to garden and spend time outside. Kevin personally enjoys cooking, golfing, playing many other sports, and spending time with friends and family. The most important thing in his life is continuing to grow his relationship not only with his family but with God.
