I was nervous starting at FLA as a freshman. So many questions were running through my head. Coming from a local middle school, I was comforted knowing a lot of my friends were also coming to FLA. Soon all those doubts and worries subsided, as I grew to know and love my teachers and staff. Everyone was so warm and friendly which really helped the transition from middle school to high school.
One thing I really appreciate about my school is that there are so many different opportunities to go out in the community and make a difference by serving others. FLA has helped me grow in my leadership skills, communication skills and has given me confidence for the next step of my journey. I really like that there are classes like, financial algebra and health science, that will help me in my future career in the medical field. My plans after graduation are to go to college and become a nurse. Thanks to the amazing teachers I feel well prepared to take that next step in life.
