Phillip Villemain
This is my fourth year attending Forest Lake Academy. I love the close friendships that I've made and the community we all have together.
My favorite teacher is Mr. Dave Johnson for many reasons. He seems to really enjoy his job and he is always pushing his students to become better. I also enjoy his jokes he makes in class- he really does make learning fun.
I have grown in my faith tremendously over the past four years. Our Friday, whole school chapels, have made a huge impact on my life. The singing and the special speakers campus ministries brings to campus, have all really shaped me and made me grow closer to God.
If I hadn't come to FLA, I would be a different person than I am today. I didn't necessarily recognize that until now, my senior year, but just the environment and the people I have been surrounded by have made my experience here amazing. FLA is preparing me for the future and I especially liked all the meetings we had in the beginning of the year about ACT, SAT, FAFSA and more.
My plans after I graduate is to attend UCF for 4 years and just continue my journey in life. I would say to someone considering joining Forest Lake, to do it! It'll be a decision you won't regret, and you will be so happy with the amazing choice you made.
