Meet the Team
The varsity team (Ski Ski) secured third place in the FIRST Tech Challenge last year. They were also awarded the THINK award and the notebook award. They are the team with the most experience, having participated in last year’s competition and creating a successful design. Team Ski Ski strives to be a dedicated, efficient team that comes up with innovative solutions.
The junior varsity team (Gearhead Gladiators) are a team full of new recruits for the robotics program. They are coming up with new ideas while also taking inspiration from varsity team. The Gearhead Gladiators are a hard working, devoted team. They have fresh ideas and are eager to learn about new things to achieve excellence.

FIRST Tech Challenge
The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
The theme for this year’s competition was "Power Play," designed to discover renewable and efficient sources of energy to be able to use in larger, everyday machines.
